SharePoint Online backup failures
Some SharePoint Online and OneDrive backup jobs, and some SharePoint restores, are failing for a subset of customers. The cause is a change in Microsoft’s SharePoint infrastructure that is being rolled out progressively. Microsoft is aware of the issue and is actively working on fixing it, but we do not yet have a timeline for a fix All existing backups are safe and unaffected. New SharePoint Online and OneDrive data may not be backed up for affected customers while the issue persists.
